COVID-19 Booster Eligibility

The table below details the eligibility criteria established by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the COVID-19 Booster Vaccines.

Immunocompromised includes people who have:
 Been receiving active cancer treatment for tumors or cancers of the blood
 Received an organ transplant and are taking medicine to suppress the immune system
 Received a stem cell transplant within the last 2 years or are taking medicine to suppress the immune system
 Moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency (such as DiGeorge syndrome, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome)
 Advanced or untreated HIV infection
 Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or other drugs that may suppress your immune response
*Please check with your Healthcare Provider to confirm eligibility to receive a booster dose.
Authorization of “Mix and Match” Booster Dose
A single booster dose of any of the available COVID-19 vaccines may be administered as a booster dose following completion of primary vaccination with a different available COVID-19
vaccine for people aged 18 years and older. For people aged 12-17 years, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is the only approved booster vaccine for those with immunocompromised
conditions. The eligible populations and dosing interval for a booster dose are the same as those authorized for a booster dose of the vaccine used for primary vaccination.
