Since March 17 to may 31 of 2020 the philippines has instituted

quarantine due to the virus that was plaguing the world.A year
later we are still unable to be totally safe outside of our own
homes. COVID-19 has cause many deaths, specifically 4,811,825
deaths as of october 3 2021, today. The covid 19 virus spreads
through small liquid particles in our mouths or noses so the
measures taken against it are that people are required to wear
a mask and that they stay at least 1 meter away from any
person. This is called social distancing, to define social
distancing, In public health, social distancing, also called
physical distancing, is a set of non-pharmaceutical
interventions or measures intended to prevent the spread of a
contagious disease by maintaining a physical distance between
people and reducing the number of times people come into
close contact with each other. The methods of quarantine
measures to implement this would be only a certain amount of
people are allowed in a store, They put markers to show where
you stand in a line and that if you were to set up a group
meeting only a certain amount of people are allowed to
physically be there. These rules can be connected to social
distancing by the way that they make it easier or more
convenient to do it. To further discuss on a part of quarantine
that connects to social distancing and the prevention of
spreading COVID 19, a measure that mainly effects students is
the implementation of learning modules on a massive scale. I’m
talking about entire nations that are developed enough that
can have this measure. Sadly the cost of keeping the students
and teachers physically safe from the virus is the difficulty of
getting used to a system that for the average person connected
to the school system are entirely unused to. A completely
foreign system that they had to implement well or at least
workable and fast. Teachers who didn’t have the necessary
skills to be able to create a viable personal system of teaching
that uses technology like zoom and or google meet and other
of such apps as well as students who of lower socioeconomic
class being unable to afford sustaining the ability to study using
this technology. The safety of people take the highest place of
importance but we do still have to fix the cracks that came
about from these measures.
