About the College: Orange City College of Social Work, Nagpur was established on 10th December, 1999
on the eve of International Human Rights Day at Nagpur, Maharashtra. The college was established with the
aim of providing quality education to the people, especially the have not section of the society so as to
eliminate the chasm of disparity among the people. The college provides quality education, which is also
relevant and socially oriented, at the very affordable price. The college is always at the fore at research and
extension activities for which it is always appreciated by one and all. It is for this that it has been re-
accredited ‘B+’ by NAAC, Bengaluru.

About the Journal: The journal will be published by Place of Higher Learning and Research, Orange City
College of Social Work, Nagpur. The journal carries the high impact factor 7 to 8 at international standards.
The journal would furnish scientific perspective on the human rights, counseling and the interdependence of
both the aspects in the present scenario globally. The publication of the journal shall be done officially on
10th December, 2021 on the eve of International Human Rights Day & 21st College Foundation Day.

Relevance of the Journal: The world is going through the rough phase of the problems like terrorism,
Naxalism, tyranny, autocratic governance, lost of faith and mutual understanding, increasing population and
problems of world, etc. that poses the need of effective and rampant counseling at different levels of life.
These problems are clear and present threat to the human rights at global level. The problem needs urgent
attention so as to safeguards the human rights at global level and refraining the world from being pushed
back to the era of barbarism. Thus the tool of counseling can land as the savior in the present time and has to
be embraced with utmost positivity. The journal would essay to churn the ideas so as to come up with an
effective solution to this problem that would keep the flag of human rights intact all over the world. The
papers are invited on the subthemes or the main theme, but not strictly sticking to the same, for the journal
carrying the high impact factor 7 to 8 at international standards.
