Dear brothers,

Vidyapith Praktani EC is glad to invite you to another session of Praktani Adda on the topic of Patents &
Intellectual Property. The session will cover topics related to patents & other forms of intellectual property,
and relevant careers involving the combination of technology & law, and its potential in value creation.

Session would be conducted by our own Rajarshi Dasgpta (RKM ’2001).

Rajarshi is a Patent Attorney with an engineering degree in Biotechnology. Post that, he completed
Bachelors in Law with specialisation in Intellectual Property Rights from I.I.T. Kharagpur (2011). He is a
registered patent agent under the Government of India, and has extensively contributed in developing
the entire patent portfolio of indigenous vaccine manufacturer Bharat Biotech International Limited. He
takes keen interest in patenting new ideas from academic sector and has also filed patents on behalf of
premier technical institutes of our country like IITs, NITs and other research institutes under CSIR.
