Proyecto de Arte

Due Viernes el 22 de abril

Each class will be holding an art show of famous Hispanic Artists. Each student will
research different artists from Spanish speaking counties. Each student will contribute to
an art show using different prints from the artist, and have a poster or some creative
display telling basic facts about the artist.

The display needs to include:

Who
when the artist was born & died
what famous for where they lived (all places)
3 different facts about artist
plus 2 INTERESTING facts about the person
a paragraph about the artists life in the past tense
On Friday May 7th of next week you will present your artist to the class and we will
have an art exhibition during class. This project will be worth a test grade.

Here is a timeline of when your information will be checked:

Mon 4/18: Introduction to project, begin research, pick artist
Wed 4/20: Write all required information
Fri 4/22: Research, prints will be received, finish writing, work on visual (20 points)

Requirements: (These are MINIMUM requirements for a grade of 80!! The numbers
behind the requirement indicates the amount of points it is worth)

The display that includes the following information:

 who (5 pts)
 when the artist was born & died (in Spanish) (10)
 what they were famous for and where they were born and lived (all places) (in
Spanish) (10)
 3 different facts about artist (5)
 plus 2 INTERESTING facts about the artist (5)
 two examples of art from that artist (10)
 ***A paragraph written in Spanish in the past tense about the artist. This
paragraph is intended to show me how well you know how to use the preterite
vs. the imperfect. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE 2 PAST TENSES WE HAVE
BEEN STUDYING! (35)
 The extra 20 points will be given based on the creativity, neatness, and
timeliness of your project.

una nota de examen!
