Communication Reflection

From the mock interviews, and the partner exercises we did in class, I learned I am a

good communicator. In the partner exercises, I was able to listen to the instructions from my

partner and ask questions that allowed me to draw an accurate depiction of the photo we were

given. In the mock interviews, conversation flowed, and I was able to answer the questions with

ease and confidence. When it was my partner's turn to be interviewed, I was an active listener

and was able to relate things he had said in previous questions to the current thing we were

talking about.

I could improve my group communication skills. When it is a bigger group of people, I

find it hard to speak up and share my ideas. During the nails on a string exercise, we struggled

communicating how we wanted to go about it. But I must find the confidence to work with

others and not focus on whether my idea is right or wrong and focus more on getting my idea

out there.
