WELCOMEWORDS
Distinguished Guests:
In this golden autumn when crimson hills and cr ystal blue water unfold a
grand spectacle of mother nature, we are delighted to welcome you to the
online session of “China-ASEAN Clean Energy Capacity Building Programme
2021 Exchange Project” for joint facilitation of China-ASEAN energy
collaboration and establishment of a safe, efficient and clean energy system.
In recent years, China puts for ward five major development concepts of
innovation, coordination, greening, opening-up, and inclusiveness in energy
transition, aiming to transform the energy development, and adjust and
optimize energy structure, which has yielded positive outcome in developing
renewable energy. ASEAN countries realize rapid development in this sector
based on abundant renewable energy resources. Thus, it is of crucial
significance to hold “China-ASEAN Clean Energy Capacity Building
Programme 2021 Exchange Project”, as it ser ves as a platform for cooperative
exchanges between China and ASEAN countries and information sharing
among experts.
Guided by National Energy Administration of the People’s Republic of
China, the China-ASEAN Clean Energy Capacity Building Programme 2021
Exchange Project is jointly organized by China Renewable Energy Engineering
Institute and ASEAN Centre for Energy and co-organized by PowerChina
Zhongnan Engineering Corporation Limited and Renewable Energy Special
Committee of China Association of Circular Economy under the theme of
“High Proportion Renewable Energy Development Towards a Sustainable
Future——Extensive Utilization of Wind and Solar ”. Attending this online
event are exper ts, scholars, and officials, who will provide in-depth
explanations to two reports, “Low-speed Wind Power Application Case
Analysis” and “Case Analysis of High Proportion PV Application”, and carr y
out exchanges based on their point of views regarding low-speed wind power
application and high proportion PV application of China and ASEAN countries.
Please allow me to thank you again for you attendance!
