your business objectives.
Second is developing all the tools you will need to communicate
the brand, such as your logo, tagline and website.
Page 32
Finally, there is the phase of strengthening your newly developed
or updated brand.
Branding strategies:
1. CONSIDER YOUR OVERALL BUSINESS STRATEGY:
A strong, well differentiated brand will make growing your firm much easier.
But what type of firm do you want? Are you planning to grow organically?
Your overall business strategy is the context for your brand development
strategy, so that’s the place to start. If you are clear about where you want to
take your firm, your brand will help you get there.
Page 33
5. DEVELOP YOUR NAME, LOGO AND TAGLINE:
Remember, your name, logo and tagline are not your brand. They are a part
of your brand identity, the ways to communicate or symbolize your brand.
You must live it to make it real.
6. DEVELOP YOUR CONTENT MARKETING STRATEGY:
Content marketing is particularly well suited to professional services firms
in the Internet age. It does all things traditional marketing does but it does
them more efficiently. It uses valuable educational content to attract, nurture
and qualify prospects.
7. DEVELOP YOUR WEBSITE:
Your website is your single most important brand development tool. It is the
place where all your audiences turn to learn what you do, how you do it and
who your clients are. Prospective clients are not likely to choose your firm
solely based on your website. But they may well rule you out if your site
sends the wrong message.
Marketing strategy:
A marketing strategy refers to a business's overall game plan for
reaching prospective consumers and turning them into customers of their
products or services. A marketing strategy contains the company's value
proposition, key brand messaging, data on target customer
demographics, and other high-level elements.
1. Use social media:
You can't ignore social media. That's where all the so-called magic
is happening. Some businesses have been built solely on the backs
of social media. It can be intimidating at first. Sure. But as you
Page 34
build momentum, you'll find posting on social media to get easier
and easier over time.
2. Create video tutorials:
One of the most effective ways to get the word out on your
business is to create video tutorials. Teach people something
useful. Walk them through it. Hold their hands. Step-by-step
tutorials are all the rage.
3. Understand search engine optimization:
Create your content for humans while also paying homage to
search engines. But more importantly, ensure that whatever it is
that you're conveying is insightful, engaging, unique and adds a
tremendous amount of value.
4. Leverage influencers:
Want to get the word out there and boost your visibility on social
media without taking years to build the audience? Then you should
certainly leverage influencers. But the key is to find the right
influencer. You don't have to go with influencers with millions of
followers. You could opt for micro-influencers with tens of
thousands or even a hundred thousand followers.
5. Use Facebook ads with re-targeting:
One of the most powerful methods you can use to market just
about anything these days are Facebook ads. With Facebook, you
can reach a very specific audience and you can do it very easily.
Page 35
You can target by interest, age, relationships status, geographic
location, and so much much more.
6. Create an affiliate program:
Most people don't understand the power of affiliate marketing.
Affiliates can provide massive fuel for growth. But approaching
the right partners isn't always that easy. You have to have good
conversion if you want the bigger affiliate to take you seriously.

LESSON LEARNT

4.1 EXPERIENCE
Throughout the course of my 8 week intership at Edu4sure, I worked with the
marketing and promotions team. Based on my eight weeks as an intern, I realized
that I was successful to gather a lot of significant learning experiences which
would be helpful in my future career. Throughout my experiences, I was able to
gain a better understanding of how to market your product and services. The
Marketing department of Edu4sure offered me opportunities, not only to learn but
also to exhibit my skills as a Marketing team member.
One of the most important things I took away from the internship is to handle work
pressure, time management and the new found knowledge, which includes
knowing how to fulfill tasks relevant to my desired career path. Not only that, but I
also spent time sharpening and enhancing the skills I already possessed.

4.3 CHALLENGES
There is not much work for interns.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, interns were not able to experience the
real corporate culture as it was work from home internship.
Page 40
4.4 SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Increase Budget on Social Media Marketing:
One of the number one failures of brands not doing well on social media
according to a research by Nielsen's is the reason of low budget allocated
where on average only 1.2 % of the total communication and promotion
budget is allocated to digital social media communication.
Hire the right people:
With a small business looking to grow, it's important to have the right
employees in the company who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. They
have to be dedicated to the mission. Hiring the absolute best people you can
is a surefire way to ensure fast growth. It’s all about having the right team.
Increase Effectiveness of Brand Pages on Social Media:
Most brand pages are too focused on posting and communicating products
and services to peoples newsfeed where the social media user will get
annoyed at a particular time and un-follow or unlike the page. It's always
better for the brand page to promote non-brand communication like humor,
tips and other benefitting message of the user than only blatantly posting and
communicating product and service benefit. The best method to use is a
mixture of product and lifestyle, humor and tips communication from brands
than product and service promotion.
Focus on your customer experience:
Customers' perceptions of your business can really make or break a business.
Deliver quality experiences and products, and they'll quickly sing your
praises on social media. Fast growth depends on making your current and
potential customers happy with their experience.
