What is your impression about the chosen people of God?

They are the chosen people of God, and I think that God chose them
because they are people holy to the Lord. They are chosen not only to be
favored but to take responsible actions. Not all of them were faithful to God,
but my understanding is that certain people may be chosen by God because
they have special tasks in this world. They are chosen as early people and
that makes them special because they have the gift of fruitfulness. They
obeyed his commandments and worshipped only him. And if I were one of
them, I'd be thankful and grateful to be his servant and be the one to take
on the mission of proclaiming his truth to the world.
