8th Semester Project: Digitization of PESCE Layout Map

PES College of Engineering is one of the prestigious institutes under VTU, having good
infrastructure for PG, UG and Research students. The total area is 62 acres with 18.33 acres of
built-up land. The main theme of this small project is to prepare a layout map using GPS and
digitize the same using GIS software. The main objectives are
 Normal traditional survey to prepare base map of the college.
 Survey for the entire campus using GPS

  Digitization of base map which include all the features (campus boundary, built-up land
and road network)
