such as exploration, reconnaissance and surveillance which require human supervision, if not guidance

4) Robots are a great tool to help mankind. Most robots today are used to do repetitive actions or jobs
considered too dangerous for humans. Robots are now used in medicine, for military tactics, for finding
objects underwater and to explore other planets. /2.5 pts.

5) Why Does NASA send robots to Mars and not astronauts? /2.5pts
5) Sending a robot to space is also much cheaper than sending a human. Robots don't need to eat or
sleep or go to the bathroom. They can survive in space for many years and can be left out there—no
need for a return trip! ... Robots can also be built to do things that would be too risky or impossible for
astronauts. /2.5pts.

life in both work and personal situations. They are used everywhere from the medical field to the war

3) What does a switch do in a circuit? /1.5pt.


3) The actual term for switch is to turn a light on and off. It interrupts or connects an electric signal or
power source to a load or circuit. /1.5pt.

4) What is an electric motor? /1.5pt.


4) An electric motor can be defined as a machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical
energy. /1.5pt.
