How To Master A Second Language?
How To Master A Second Language?
1. Have a conversation
In our minds, language is digested. Every minute, we are mulling over a new
idea, recalling a memorable event from our past, or making plans for the
future. This is usually done in our own language; but, why not compel our
minds to think in English? (or the language of your choice). Forming sentences
in a foreign language and devising replies to various scenarios will assist us in
preparing for their arrival.
There are around 50 to 100 basic terms in each language. These 100 most
commonly used words account for half of all spoken communication in a
person's everyday life. Under these circumstances, it is feasible to make a
slow and considerable progress in learning a new language; all that is required
is to begin with the most basic and gradually progress to the more
sophisticated. However, keep in mind that consistency is a crucial factor to
consider.
4. Be sure to have a compact dictionary with you.
It is a reality that memorizing all the terms used in another language, no matter how
hard we try, is a difficult task. To aid you a little, keep a dictionary handy for each time
you hear or read a word you don't recognize. It is no longer necessary to go through
life with a good book; today's cellphones can provide you with all you require with a
single tap.
A easy method is to change the language on your phone and computer to the
language you wish to learn. This way, you will be practicing and learning every
time you use them, which we do a lot. You can also download certain
dictionary apps, pronunciation apps, or some of the language learning services
we mentioned earlier, because they feature mobile apps that incorporate
gamification to make learning more interesting.
