Mrs. Reyes said that emotional intelligence is the person’s ability to identify and manage emotions and the
emotions of others. It is, generally, said to include 3 skills: emotional awareness, the ability to identify your
emotions and emotions of others; the ability to harness emotions and apply them to tasks like thinking and
problem-solving; and, the ability to manage emotions, including the ability to regulate your own emotions and the
ability to cheer up or calm down another person. Emotional intelligence is sometimes called emotional quotient.

Jake was dating with Trish for two years as a couple and they tend to get to know each other well. The relationship
