POC CHUC – YUCATECAN GRILLED PORK


Yield: 1 serving
Description: Poc chuc is arguably the
signature dish of the Yucatan, along with
cochinita pibil.
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs boneless pork chops flattened
With a meat mallet until thin
- ¾ c Seville orange juice or ½ c
Orange juice and ¾ lime juice
- 2 gloves garlic (Minced)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp dried Mexican oregano or
Regular oregano
- 4 whole tomato tomatoes
- 1 small red onion cut in half
- kosher salt and freshly ground
pepper

Reviews: POC CHUC in Mexican cuisine is very common here in the Philippines but this
dish are adding some ingredient like oregano for marinade the pork. This are very easy
to cook because ingredients are easy to find and buy. The taste are so delicious and
looks good in my mouth.
