ELIGIBILITY

 All participants must be bona fide students of the Polytechnic University of the
Philippines’ College of Engineering, Electrical Engineering Department
 Must be duly enrolled for the Academic Year 2018-2019

REQUIREMENTS

 A bona fide PUP Electrical Engineering student for the academic year 2018-2019
 Filled up Application forms that must be given to the respective committee
 Photocopy of Identification Card and Registration Card for the second semester of
Academic Year 2018-2019
 Photocopy of validated Electrical Engineering Network Membership
Identification Card for the second semester.
 Deadline of submission of requirements is on December 4, 2018, Tuesday at
EEN Office.

MECHANICS

 Each sector can have only three (3) acoustic band as their representative.
  The band must be composed of not less than 4 members and not more than 7.
 The band must sing one (1) OPM song, one (1) any of their song choice and one
(1) Christmas song for their musical line-up.
 The band must perform a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 15
minutes, preparation time included. 0.5 point will be deducted for every minute
of excess and deficient from the final score. Exceeding the given time will also
result to the deduction of one point from the final score.
 All competitors must be amateur level, with no recording contracts, publishing
contracts or endorsements.
 The band should provide their own musical instruments, acoustic guitars or
instruments with pickups.
 No back-up musicians allowed other than the band member/s.
 No substitution of members shall transpire. Only participants who is enlisted in
the application forms can perform. Failure to do so will result to disqualification.
 Electrical instruments cannot be utilize in any form within the contest proper,
unless for amplification.

RULES

 The piece of each acoustic band must not be more than the allotted time for their
performances.
 Any band member/s involved in displaying misconduct such as vulgar, indecent
words, to the officiating committees, event marshals even competitors is/are
subjected to disqualification.
 Band member/s under the influence of alcohol, liquor, drugs or any other
intoxicating drinks are not allowed to perform.

 There will be three (3) Contestants that will be declared winners

2. Electrical Engineering Acoustic Battle 2018 1st Runner-Up
3. Electrical Engineering Acoustic Battle 2018 2nd Runner-Up
