Uses of Quality Tools (Quality Management)

1. Collects and Analyzes Data. Quality Management tools assist organizations in


collecting and analyzing data so that employees can comprehend and interpret
information more readily

2. Determines problems and their causes. Quality Management tools can help
discover typical problems that arise often and their fundamental causes that will be
useful for employees

3. Organizes Collected Data. Quality Management tools can organize gathered data
that is useful for analyzing and eventually coming up with concrete solutions to
provide products with better quality.

1. Check List- Allows employees to identify issues that inhibit a company from
delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations and
easily tick-off solved problems.
2. Pareto Chart- Allows employees to identify which problems are to be
prioritized by the frequency in the system.
3. Cause and Effect Diagram- Allows employees to identify the root source of
problems and the potential influences that causes workplace conflicts
4. Histogram- Allows employees to identify the severity of a problem by
providing a graphical representation of its intensity
5. Scatter Diagram- Allows employees to identify the relationship between two
variables
6. Graphs- Allows employees to identify whether the process or systems are at
the expected level
