Catalog description:
Properties and definitions of digital IC technologies. Basic logic circuit families: TTL, CMOS,
dynamic CMOS, BICMOS, ECL and GaAs; with emphasis on CMOS digital logic. Oscillators,
Schmitt triggers.

Type of course: required major for CCE majors, technical elective for EE majors.

Pre-requisites: EEN 311 Electronic Circuits II, EEN 220, Introduction to Logic Design,.

 Exams and Quizzes are closed-book closed notes. One Equation sheet is allowed for the Final
Exam
 Homework assignments will be announced in class.
 Make-up exams are given only in the case of an emergency with a valid excuse accepted by the
SAO.
