1. What are your school's best practices in TLE?
Because a TLE teacher understands the importance of collaboration
and teamwork, collaborative learning is regularly fostered throughout classroom activities in the school. It assists pupils in developing higher order thinking skills, delegating roles, and working collaboratively to solve complicated problems. This can be through talks, teamwork, and activities.
Teachers and students also have a positive understanding of one
other's learning and teaching styles. As a result, teachers provide constructive comments on a regular basis to examine each student's performance and provide the necessary recommendations. Parents are also actively involved in their children's education through Gulayan sa Paaralan, Nutrition Month Celebration and even during the assessment of their kid’s performance output, through this the students become more disciplined in their studies, develop positive social skills, and excel academically.
Regular assessments are also given to assist students in speeding up
their learning by identifying what they excel in and what areas of their curriculum they need to focus on.
2. Compare traditional and non-traditional methods of teaching.
Traditional teaching methods are primarily teacher-directed, and pupils
are instructed in a manner that encourages them to sit and listen. Traditional expectations and department ideologies do allow us to continue with the lecture-based paradigm with some meaningful results, as seen by many people's past accomplishments, and this cannot be denied. However, it is frequently stated that the traditional methodology does not give students with valuable skills, and some even claim that the old method causes students to lose knowledge following tests, resulting in little or no recollection of the body of knowledge learned. Through some time, Traditional teaching methods are thought to be inconsistent, hence a variety of innovative approaches, such as non-traditional methods like e-learning, have been developed over time.
E-learning is defined as “the use of a computer or electronic device
(such as a smartphone) to give training, instructional, or learning content in some way.” Obviously, the processes employed in E- learning environments might vary, including online training or education, the Internet or an Intranet, CDs and DVDs, and so on. Distance education appears to have been one of the first fields to use e-learning in its delivery. The e-learning environment is a modern teaching and learning paradigm that aims to improve teaching effectiveness and that the goal should be to improve the quality and effectiveness of "conventional teaching" rather than pursuing a whole new way.
