Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla is an inventor and engineer who discovered and patented the rotating magnetic
field, the basis of most alternating-current machinery. For me Nikola Tesla is a Legend, when I
first read his story I was amazed by how talented he is and despite of hard times in the past he
still strives to do his works and contribute it in future generation. He is a Giant that I’m standing
on because still today his works is present in our world and many people gain benefits to it.

Ernest Rutherford

Ernest Rutherford postulated the nuclear structure of the atom, discovered alpha and beta rays,
and proposed the laws of radioactive decay. One of my biggest influences why I liked Science
especially atomic and nuclear topics. I’m fascinated by how Ernest Rutherford discovered the
littlest thing in our surroundings.

Charles Darwin

Charles Robert Darwin was an English naturalist, geologist and biologist, best known for his
contributions to the science of evolution. His proposition that all species of life have descended
over time from common ancestors is now widely accepted, and considered a foundational
concept in science. I knew Charles Darwin in his Evolution of Man but later on I discovered that
Charles Darwin also known for his contributions in evolutions of other species. Still today I read
topics about him and watches how other things came form or what is the previous ancestors of
a certain species. Another is how thing adopt to the environment their living.

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein is famous for devising his theory of relativity, which revolutionized our
understanding of space, time, gravity, and the universe. Relativity also showed us that matter
and energy are just two different forms of the same thing a fact that Einstein expressed as
E=mc2, the most widely recognized equation in history. Albert Einstein is phenomenal in the
World of Science because of his contribution. I’m literally thinking of him as a Giant that I’m
standing on simply because of his creative mind which lend to discoveries and better
understanding in the field of cosmos. I’m amazed by how far he thinks about the world.

Alfred Wegener

Alfred Wegener, in full Alfred Lothar Wegener, German meteorologist and geophysicist who
formulated the first complete statement of the continental drift hypothesis. As a Person who
really like the Science about how our world before, Alfred Wegener is one of my favorite
persons in science. He completed his hypothesis and explained how a certain land is produced
or what its came from. Personally I would not think of our land or what he called plates are
moving and drifting away to one another.
