A: Hi….. How are you?

B: Not bad, what's up ?

A: In your opinion, buying online or buying in stores is a good choice ?

B: Hmm, I think online shopping would be a better choice.

A: why, Why do you think so ?

B: Because I think it is a quicker and cheaper way to shop since people can buy
products at home without having to go to stores or shopping malls.\

A: I know, that's all?

B: online shopping allows people to have a wider range of choices as they can
compare different brands and products.

A: I Know what you mean, But when shopping online we can't try the product,
right?

B: Right, that is the limitation of buying online, what about you?

A: I prefer to purchasing in stores because I prefer to to see, touch, compare or


read about what I buy! I want to be able to check quality and sizes and not fuss
around with paying postage to send it back and hope some warehouse gets it right a
2nd or 3rd time.
B: oh I understand the problems you face when you shop online, but sometimes
you still buy online right ?

A: Yeah , I still buy online when I don't have time to shop at the store, I think
buying online is sometimes convenient.

B:So, buying online or buying directly at a store has different benefits and
difficulties, It's no big deal.

Which is more important: high school friends or college friends? Give reasons
and examples to support your point of view.

A: Hi….. How are you?

B: Not bad, what's up ?

A: Do you think high school friends or college friends is more important ?

B: Hmm, I think I like my college friend more

A: Oh, why do you think that ?


B: In college, you’re living with your friends on campus, or in a roomie apartment
nearby for colleges, and this means that your college friends quickly become your
new family as you navigate college together
A: well, i suppose. I can see your point
B: And college friends are there for you when you’re dealing with all kinds of
problems — whether they’re related to your studies or not. How about you ......?
A: I think high school friends are more important, part of my friends in college
were my high school friends.
B: Relly? Do you think so ?
A:Yes, Because School friends are the ones that I grew up with. we experienced
the various phases of transition from boyhood to adolescence. Be it learning things,
playing, eating, bunking, fighting, fantasizing etc.
B:Yeah,Ok, i get your point.
A: But It's hard to compare the importance of high school friends and college
friends, Best friends are whether from school or college. It all depends on your
relationship with each of them.
B: Yeah, I totally agree with your opinion, , It's no big deal.

Part 2: Do you think computers will one day replace teachers in the
classroom? Give reasons and examples to clarify your perspective.

A: Hi….. How are you?

B: Not bad, what's up ?

A: Do you think computers will one day replace teachers in the classroom?
B: I think it's very likely, As computers are being used more and more in
education, there will be soon no role for teachers in the classroom.
A: Really ? Do you think so ?
B:Yes, Nowadays, an increasing number of students rely on computers for research
and to produce a perfect paper for school purposes. Others have decided to leave
the original way of learning and to get knowledge through online schools. I think it
won't be long before the computer gets to a point where it will completely replace
the teacher
A: Hmm. I think I don't agree with you.
B: Can you tell me why ?
A: No piece of technology can complete the work of teacher.Teacher is much more
than facilator, they are also guide & mentor in real world.Teacher impart students
with life skills, valuable life lesson and inspire them to reach their potential.
B: Well, I suppose i can see your point
A:And They can assist teachers, give immediate feedback to students, and possibly
help with differentiation of instruction, but the machine will never be able to
emotionally connect with a student, feel empathy, etc.
B: Hmm, I totally agree with your point, but we can't deny the benefits of
computers for education right?
A: Yes, although it cannot replace teachers, with the increasing level of computers,
it is possible to support teachers in teaching.

PART 2: Should students work a part-time job while they are studying? Give
reasons and examples to support your point of view.

A: Hi….. How are you?

B: Not bad, what's up ?

A: Do you think students should work part-time while studying ?

B: I think it shouldn't because it takes up a lot of time

A: Oh can you be more specific as to why ?

B: As a student, time is one of your greatest assets especially when your course
gets tougher – you will need to allocate more of your day to research and revision.
Besides that, the part-time jobs will rarely find a job which can help glamorize
your CV
A: I think, I have a different opinion than you

B: Really ?

A: Yes, I think The good thing about getting a part-time job while studying is that
money isn't the only thing you earn while working. There are also great
opportunities that you can gain with experience to prepare for better jobs later.

B: Well, I suppose i can see your point

A:And If you are able to find the correct job, it will give you an invaluable head
start in your career and you will have the upper hand the moment you graduate.

B: Hmm I completely agree with your opinion, I think this has both advantages and
disadvantages if we do not know how to arrange the time properly, right?

A: Yeah, exactly.

Part 2 : What are some advantages and disadvantages of working as a


freelancer? Give examples to support your answer.

A: Hi….. How are you?

B: Not bad, what's up ?

A: Do you think working directly at a company or working as a freelancer would


be a good choice?

B: I think working directly at a company would be a good choice

A: Why do you think so ?


B: Being a freelancer working from home also means it can be difficult to
distinguish between your work time and your personal life. This means you can
work long hours and never have time for your personal interests.

A: Oh that sounds pretty bad

B: And,being a Freelancer means you no longer have to use paid sick or vacation
days. Every day you don't work is a day you don't get paid. You will have no
employer benefits.

A:Hmm I think freelancer is a good choice for me

B: Really ?

A: Yes, because i am a like free and the advantage of freelancer is that you can
work whenever you want. You can choose your own hours. As a freelancer, you
can actually work during your most productive hours and those hours don't have to
fall into your normal working hours.

B: oh this is so interesting!

A: And as a freelancer you can work Wherever You Want whether you choose to
work in a local coffee shop or while you’re on vacation in Europe. You are no
longer stuck in an office or even in your home. And the important thing is you will
get all the profits when you do it without having to share it with your company

B: Ok , i get your point, but I think it's up to each person's preference or


personality to choose to work directly for a company or as a freelancer. Each has
its own advantages and disadvantages.

A: Yes I understand and i totally agree with your opinion. It’s no big deal
