Candidates who have passed their HSC Part-II in any of the disciplines mentioned against each program
in annual examination 2021 or prior up to annual examination of 2018 with at least 60% aggregate marks
(Grace marks given by the board for improvement of grade shall not be counted) are eligible for
admission under Regular and Self- Financing Scheme.

NOTE:

(i). All the candidates will have to submit HSC-II marks certificate showing 60% marks or
above by their concerned Board. They shall be allowed provisionally to appear in the computer-
based pre-admission entry test to be conducted from the 3rd week of August 2021 at MUET,
Jamshoro. However, the candidates of HSC 2021 shall be considered in the merit list on the basis
of their SSC results and will be admitted provisionally.

The admissions afterwards will be finalized when the admitted candidates secure 60% marks in
HSC Part-II examination and produce the marks certificates of the same and meet the eligibility
cariteria mentioned above (Grace marks given by the board for improvement of grade shall not
be counted).

(ii). Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in the relevant technology having at least 60%
aggregate marks in Annual Examination 2021 or prior up to Annual Examination of 2018 under
Regular Scheme. The result of DAE must already be declared and the DAE documents must be
submitted at least one week before entry test.

Admission Forms:
Candidates shall be required to apply online for admission starting from Monday, 19-07-2021 by
registering themselves on MUET Online Admission Portal at https://ugadmission.muet.edu.pk/. The
prospectus is available on http://admissions.muet.edu.pk/prospectus.php. They are also required to
pay admission processing fee amounting to Rs. 3,200/- through fee challan generated by Online
Admission Portal which will be deposited in MUET HBL CMD-A/C. No. 00427991903403 in any branch
of Habib Bank Ltd., HBL Mobile App, HBL Internet Banking or by paying Rs. 3,250/- (Rs. 50/- TCS
service charges) in any TCS office and then uploading the paid copy of the challan form / online receipt
/ TCS payment receipt on the Online Admission Portal. The candidates also have to fill-in all the required
information / data in the online admission form and upload the scanned copies of their recent photograph,
original SSC, HSC, Hope Certificate (if applicable), Domicile and PRC on the Online Admission Portal
of the University up to Thursday, 29-07-2021.
Pre-Admission Test:

1. All eligible candidates shall be required to appear in the Computer-based Pre-Admission Test at
Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro from Monday / MUET,
Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (SZAB) Campus, Khairpur, August 23, 2021 and onwards.
2. The candidates failing to appear in the Pre-Admission Test will automatically stand disqualified
for admission.
3. Admit Slip for Pre-Admission Test will be sent online through Online Admission Portal. The
admit Slip issued by the University should be produced by the candidates at the time of the test along
with his / her original CNIC.
4. If any candidate does not receive his / her Admit Slip online, he / she may contact for the same
to the undersigned from 16-08-2021 to 17-08-2021 during office hours (8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).
After 17-08-2021 admit slips shall not be issued in any circumstances.
5. The candidates will be required to report at the examination center at least one hour before the
start of the Pre-admission Entry Test.

 Admission Schedule:

i) General Provisional Merit List of the candidates of all districts, who are otherwise eligible for
admission, shall be uploaded on the website of the University on 25-09-2021.
ii) The 1st Provisional Interviews Call List shall be displayed on Admissions Website on 28-09-2021.
iii) Interviews shall be conducted from 01-10-2021 at Mehran University, Jamshoro. The candidates
whose names appear in interview call list shall be called for interview before admission committee
and they shall be required to submit two sets of photocopies of all the required documents along
with their originals.
v) The Classes of this Batch will start from Monday, November 08, 2021.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

i. Once admitted the required original documents shall be retained by the University for at
least ONE ENTIRE YEAR.

ii. The candidates without documents / short of any of the required documents, shall not be
allowed to appear in the interview and his / her name shall be deleted from the Interview call
list. The discipline / technology shall be allotted on spot / on interview day. The candidates
are therefore advised to prepare / complete their required documents viz. Marksheet / Pass
Certificate of SSC, HSC (Part-II), Domicile and PRC (Form-C) and CNIC / Form-B before
the interviews.
