Where are you from?
VOCABULARY: COUNTRIES
When you refer to countries, you need to specify the “origin” of this noun (people, objects,
places, animals), and From is a preposition which indicates the origin of a person, object or
animal.

Capital cities, Countries, Nationalities and Languages start with a
CAPITAL letter:
Paris NOT paris, Brazil NOT brazil, Italian NOT italian, Spanish NOT spanish

NATIONALITIES
When you refer to nationalities, you don’t need to specify the “origin” of this noun (people,
objects, places, animals) because it is a characteristic.

We need suffixes to write a nationality. The most common are:
-an, -ian, -ese, -ish
