 Plyometrics is recommended in sports when a player wants to add more energy to his
exercise routine.
B. Give the four benefits of plyometrics to athletes. Describe each benefits.
 Enhances performance – it boosts the running speed of the individual.
 Develops muscle power – one’s muscle power is enhanced with higher rate of force.
 Burns calories – as the muscles become bigger, stronger, and improved in its endurance
capabilities, calories get burned at a higher rate.
 Improves endurance – it builds stamina and enhance power endurance.
C. How does plyometric training improve performance?
 Plyometric training improve the function of the nervous system and develop one’s
overall performance in sporting events.

How can you show your generosity to those people who are in dire need of your help? Explain.

 I can show my generosity to people who are in dire need of my help by being giving of myself.
It’s not always about material things. Sometimes just being present and available to that person
who is having a hard time is the greatest gift I could possibly give. If you want to be happy,
practice compassion. The same is certainly true for generosity!

was affected by his physical appearance, as he was described in the selection as “one of the ugliest men
that Edmund Sanchez had ever seen- tall, oily skinned, with a nose like eagle’s beak and a pair of
bulging, disenchanted eyes, defaced by a mouth so small and thin he looked almost mouthless, and
disgraced by ill- fitting and ill- smelling clothes.” It was already planned that he would be marrying the
most beautiful girl that she have seen in his lifetime named True Jade (her Chinese name) but on the day
of their marriage she didn’t show herself and they suddenly knew that she had died in a car accident. He
started staying in the funeral. One time, the manager asked him if he can be trained as an embalmer and
because he wants to stay there he accepted. He became the chief embalmer when his boss died.
Because of that, he started to feel his desires. The dead bodies of women were his medium of satisfying
his unfulfilled pleasures and desires. He became so addicted in having intercourse with the dead
women.

Analyzing the author, we could assume that she may have seen a case wherein an embalmer was also a
person who has necrophilia. She was shocked by that incident that she wrote all her ideas and feelings
through the story Lover Boy.
