About the Group
Since SIPES trademark was developed in 1947 by JAMES B. SIPE AND COMPANY in PITTSBURGH, and since
we still wake up for the same dream every day; providing the world and upcoming generations with top quality
products that enable them to achieve an easier and a happier life. The dream is coming to reality, day by day,
as we grow, expand, improve and reach markets’ needs like no one did before.
Today, with more than 1,100 employees in all its operating facilities all over Egypt, backed up by our very strong
and highly trained Research and Development team, SIPES Group has proudly become one of the top paint

About SIPES
SIPES has become the trademark of quality paints and construction materials in the region.
With our expansion and development, and with our research and development facilities and
continuous personnel-training programs, we were able to acquire the first place on the top of paint
manufacturers in the region.
History
We started achieving since we built our first manufacturing facility in the Middle East in Lebanon (1956),
followed by Iraq (1965), Jordan (1977), Egypt (1988), Syria (1992), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2007),
Libya (2008) and finally Nigeria.
Since then, Egypt has been one of the top players in attaining the desired production milestones with
high quality products.
Manufacturing
With 3 manufacturing sites built on around 75,000 square meters and 1,100 hardworking and highly trained
employees, SIPES proudly provides Egypt and another 15 countries with top quality paint products and
up-to-date solutions that satisfy different market needs.
R&D
Continuous development brings lasting confidence.
That was the only thing going through our minds when we started creating
manufacturing facilities in Egypt. That’s why each facility has its own Research and
Development laboratories, which are equipped with the top machinery in the Middle
East. Also they are operated by our highly qualified engineers to keep improving and
innovating our products with the changing market needs.
Products
Decorative Paints:
SIPES produces high-quality top coat emulsion and synthetic paints for interior, exterior, color
mixing systems, problem solving niche products, primers, sealers and putties.
SIPES also produces a fighting brand with an economic range of decorative paints under the brand
name of SWIFT.
In addition to the above, SIPES provides a wide variety of special effects products under the brand
name of EFFECTO

Wood Paint Systems:
The WOODCARE brand name is one of the strong brands under the umbrella of SIPES, its product range
presents a full range of wood coatings which provide different solutions for wood care including wood stains,
sealers, primers, preservatives, varnishes and topcoats.
WOODCARE category products:
Polyester – Polyurethane – Nitro cellulose – Synthetic Varnishes – Wood Stain

In SIPES, we offer the AUTOCARE brand for auto refinishes. Our goal is to establish a reputation as the
leading provider of car auto refinishes coatings solutions, and create value for our customers by offering
products of the highest standards in a manner that is sustainable for the environment.
Our AUTOCARE coatings, ranging from undercoat to surface to topcoat, are infused with cutting-edge
technology to protect vehicles long-term from the rigors of a harsh environment.
Our products in the Automotive Refinish business meet the most exacting standards for rust prevention,
longevity and durability.
About PERBUILD
PERBUILD for construction chemicals is one of the most recent operations in SIPES group which has started
the production of quality construction chemical materials in the 6th of October city.
Our quality philosophy springs from the spirit of SIPES group as a mark for quality products, coupled with our
strong team of technicians devoted for developing and answering the needs of our clients.
History
In 2009, SIPES group decided to expand their market a bit more by producing and developing specialty
products for construction chemicals. Accordingly, PERBUILD Co. was founded through acquiring FORSOC
factory in Egypt, and in a short time after introducing the market to top quality products, PERBUILD became
one of the top manufacturers in the region.
The addition of PERBUILD to SIPES group completed our commitment as an integrated group in the building,
construction and decoration markets.
Manufacturing
Being located in the industrial area in the 6th of October city on 6,000 square meters, PERBUILD model factory
city is proud of its highly trained professionals in the field of construction chemicals industry, working with
state-of-the-art technological equipment to put together the best products that particularly suit the needs of
our clients, and the environments in which they operate.
Our factory includes many divisions: Administrative offices, three production wards, labs and a warehouse, that
join their forces to proudly produce:

1- Cementations:
Three vertical powder mixers with full mixing ability of 2 TN each per batch
Productivity: 60 TN per 8 hours operating shift.
2- Epoxies:
Two mixers with full mixing ability of 1 TN each per batch
Productivity: 5 TN per 8 hours operating shift.
3- Bitumen & Conc. Admixtures:
Three mixers with full mixing ability of 6,000 Lt. each per batch
Productivity: 40 TN per 8 hours operating shift.

About Transocean
We know where we want to go and this vision drove us to a new level of expansion in the field of marines,
as we partnered with Transocean Coatings, the worldwide association of paint producers which has a huge
network of manufactures, spread over all the continents, producing a high standard range of coating and
operates 45 factories in 40 different countries.
Today, we could proudly create a remarkable impact locally and in the region of the Middle East in
manufacturing and selling antifouling, anticorrosive and many more coatings for ships, offshore installations,
industrial facilities and yachts, and bringing this distinguished quality to more and more markets to practically
turn our vision into a reality.
History
Transocean Coatings is active in the manufacturing and supplying of protective and marine coatings for
offshore, onshore, pipeline coatings, tank lining, vessels and industrial facilities since 1959. Adding this
extensive experience to more than 25 years of SIPES as one of the biggest paint producers in the Middle East,
is promising more premium quality and opening a gate to conquer a wider base of markets day after another.
Manufacturing
In Egypt and Libya, SIPES International Paints has the exclusive right to manufacture and market Transocean
paints. SIPES has got a good reference in the Egyptian market, with most of the largest companies in Egypt
of petroleum, marine, infrastructure and electricity fields. Like Petrojet, PMS, Pipeline Petroleum Company,
General Petroleum Company Ras-Gahreb, Ras Sudr, Petrobel, Gasco, Towngas, Sumed Petroleum Co, Suez
Petrolium Mfg Co, El Nasr Petroleum Co, Petromaint, San Misr Co “EMC”, Khalda petroleum Co, Suez Canal
Authority for new constructions & maintenance projects, Port-said, Suez and Ismailia Ship yards, Temsah ship
yard, Alexandria power plant, Suez power plant, and others. Besides our reference in market areas of Lebanon,
Syria and Nigeria.

Marine
Transocean Coatings develops, manufactures and sells antifouling, anticorrosive and many more coatings
for ships, offshore installations, and industrial facilities.

Yachting
We offer protection and coating systems to all pleasure crafts that are made out of different materials;
metal (steel, aluminum), Wood or Glassfibre Reinforced Polyester (GRP). These coating systems have a
decorative function too, although for some areas the emphasis is more on the protective component such
as antifouling and ballast tanks.

Offshore and Onshore structures
For more than 70 years, Transocean Coatings has been supplying the market with high quality paints combined
with an excellent service that provides an excellent protection for the offshore and onshore structures like
platforms, pipes, refinery, storage tanks, bridges, power plants, and so on.
Transocean Coatings is able to take up the challenging circumstances of offshore structures especially
the splash zone areas that face severe corrosive conditions. In some areas of the world, the climate is very
unpredictable. Implicating that in general through surface preparation is not possible and painting work can be
interrupted unexpectedly. Getting it right from the start makes very much sense in the oil and gas market since
access and window of opportunity are major obstacles for maintenance painting.
Our quality speaks loud meeting all the standards of Oil companies stated on material protection and selection
in terms of paints prequalification standards of 15 years life time, and accelerated cycle corrosion tests like ISO
20340 and Norsok M 501 used by all major oil companies. In addition to specific testing on immersion resistance
and compatibility with cathodic protection.
About VEETA
VEETA is one prominent extension of SIPES group. It’s mainly dedicated to innovative polymer science and plays
a significant role in setting up the base of various industries.
VEETA’s portfolio currently boasts four distinct brands each of which has a subset of specialist products. These
products lend themselves to a diverse range of applications in a variety of end-use markets. From water repellent
latex for the outdoors to adhesives; solvents for tyre- remolds to plastisols for prosthetic limbs – VEETA Egypt
has the expertise, technology and capacity to create a compound to suit any purpose promising no less than a

History
VEETA Polymers Egypt was established since June 2010 as a joint venture between SIPES Group (Egypt)
and Vita Liquid Polymers (United Kingdom). In October 2014, SIPES Group acquired the share of Vita
group and became a 100% owned by SIPES Group.
Manufacturing
Our manufacturing lines are operating around the clock, covering thousands of square
meters located in a strategic spot in the 10th of Ramadan industrial city.
This strategic location enables us to supply factories in the area of different segments
with their vital needs.
R&D
At VEETA, we strive to innovate and improve on what we already know. This ultimately leads to increased
productivity and in return increased value and turnover. We are constantly engaged in research and
development, and synergies are achieved through the wider Vita Group. Through this worldwide network,
