Possible Solutions to Barriers

Greetings, UP Geodetic Engineering Club!

On behalf of Boto Pilipino, we are really looking forward to working together in addressing the
aforementioned barriers to registration your members are currently facing. We would like to
reiterate that some members faced multiple barriers, thus, the barrier graph shown in Figure 4
above is not mutually exclusive.

Together with WeTheFuturePH, +iMPACT Leadership, and Tatak Botante, we have proposed the
following possible solutions that we can implement in order to safely get more of your members
registered for the 2022 elections. We have included solutions to all the barriers we have identified
in the UP Diliman community, to give you an insight as to what we need to overcome as a
community in order to increase the voter registration turnout. Please note that these solutions are
flexible, and we are more than open to discussing how we can better implement them to fit your
organization’s needs. Moreover, due to the current MECQ restriction in the NCR+ bubble until May
14, our target implementation of the carpool/shuttle system will tentatively be in June to ensure the
health and safety of everyone involved.

We are also still consulting with our partner initiatives on what additional solutions we can
implement, especially in consideration of the pandemic. Should you have any questions or
concerns regarding this report and the possible solutions, please feel free to email us at
botopilipino@gmail.com, or sign-up for our Town Hall meeting next week (May 9-15) here:
http://bit.ly/BPTownHall should you want to further discuss and clarify our next steps together.

Thank you, and let’s continue to strengthen the youth’s vote!
