Decision Support Tools (DST) are designed to help users make more effective

decisions by leading them through clear decision stages and displaying the potential
for different outcomes resulting from different choices. These can be dynamic
software tools, whose recommendations vary according to user input, and may
suggest the optimal decision path. For farmers and their advisors, software tools can
facilitate effective farm management by efficiently recording data, analyzing it, and
creating a series of evidence-based recommendations. Other daylight saving time
may not be dynamic but it functions more as sources of information. However,
despite its apparent value, uptake of DST in the UK and elsewhere has been limited
by farmers and consultants. There have been relatively few investigations into
farmers' uptake of decision support in the UK, but studies elsewhere have developed
a number of important characteristics that determine use. As research into the
attractive properties of various disciplines has been conducted, this work provides
useful insights to the agricultural public but despite the continued interest of
multidisciplinary researchers, the uptake remains low. This is especially problematic
because daylight saving time design projects are often very expensive.

Decision-Support System forAgro-technology (DSSAT) software were
used as a guide for data collection program that comprises dynamic crop
growth simulation models for over 42 crops .applications of DSSAT
combines crop, soil, and weather data bases with crop models and
application programs to simulate multi-year outcomes of crop
management strategies. DSSAT integrates the effects of soil, crop
phenotype, weather and management options, and allows users to ask
“what if” questions by conducting virtual simulation experiments on a
desktop computer in minutes which would consume a significant part of
an agronomist’s career if conducted as real experiments.
