II. Find your latest Meralco bill and copy your consumption graph for the past 12 months as
shown at the bottom right of the bill, then get the average monthly consumption.
III. Is there a discrepancy between your estimated consumption and your average actual
consumption? If yes, why do you think that is?
Yes, because discrepancy may cause due to fluctuations on my bill from month to
month. Estimated bills are based on the amount we used in the previous year as it can
then be seasonally adjusted. However, even if this is too high one month, the bill we
receive the following month will be lower to balance the higher cost. Similarly, if we are
undercharged, we will have to make up the difference when we receive an actual reading.
There are lots of varieties that may cause of discrepancy of my estimated bill to my
