ZAITOON PLAZA AND RAFI PLAZA

These two plazas situated on Hall Road were the center of most prosperous and well established
electronic market of Lahore. They covered total area of 60,000 square feet by providing business
facilities in the shape of 290 shops and 78 offices and were also successfully able to cater the
requirement of the day businessmen.

HALL ROAD CENTRE

This project supplemented the success of Zaitoon Plaza and Rafi Plaza and further met the
increasing business of the electronics market on Hall Road. Trade facilities were provided
through 102 shops on 3 floors in additions to luxurious flats on the top floor. Hall Road Centre
covered an area of 15,824 square feet.

GREEN ACRES FARM HOUSING SCHEME

After the glorious success of the Zaitoon Plaza, Rafi Plaza and the Hall Road Centre , the Group
ventured for the scheme of Green Acres Farm Housing Scheme, which envisaged a new
conception of farm housing living in the historical city of Lahore.
This was the first project which the L.D.A. had approved by allowing plots measuring 4 kanals, 6
kanals, 8 kanals and larger plots, meeting the demands of the prosperous for building heavenly
homes, the concept of which had been derived from the Farm Houses in the American Society,
where the people belonging to the upper income group had their farms, ranches and second
homes for spending their weekends. Green Acres Farm Housing Scheme covered an area of
74.95 acres approximately with 94 plots which were sold in record time of 3 days.

EMPIRE CENTRE

This project was developed by imagining offering public multiple shopping activities under one
roof with all the modern amenities and facilities and a pleasant environment. The design of the
Empire Centre was based on a total instead of individual look of shops. Its controlled
environment was anticipated to attract large number of customers and was derived from the idea
of an uninterrupted shopping mall containing complete departmental stores. The Empire Centre
situated on Main Boulevard in Gulberg, Lahore, had become an exclusive high class centre of
shopping business activity, attracting the people living in posh localities who prefer convenient
driving through the Main Boulevard, for its multiple conveniences. This project was constructed
on a land of 6 kanals, 5 marlas and 41 Sq.ft. with covered area of 70,000 square feet.

Landmark

This project was launched in 1993. The excellent location of the landmark, the design of the
building, the space allocation were sufficient for this project to be ranked among the finest
complex landmarks. Landmark was designed to be a completely autonomous living where
almost everything that you required for your daily needs was available. This project was
developed on a land of 8 kanals 5 marlas with covered area of 375000 Sq.ft.

CENTRAL PLAZA

After the tremendous success of LANDMARK, Rafi Group built CENTRAL PLAZA on the same lines as
LANDMARK. It emerged as the finest high-rise with 3 floors of inbuilt shopping centre, 1 floor offices
and 7 of high quality apartments building in this part of the city. In CENTRAL PLAZA they offered a self-
sufficient commercial-cum-residential facility that satisfied the needs of its customers under one roof.
This project was developed on a land of 6 kanals 3 marlas and 163 Sq.ft. with covered area of more than
200,000 Sq.ft.

EMPRESS TOWERS

Empress Tower located near Shimla Hill at the intersection of important roads - Empress Road, Davis
Road, Egerton Road, Abbot Road, Durand Road - was no doubt, be the most prominent high-rise building
of its kind on Empress Road. Empress Towers, had been modelled on the same lines as LANDMARK and
CENTRAL PLAZA. It had offices, apartments and a sizeable shopping arcade. Three floors were reserved
exclusively for shops. These floors were inter linked through over a dozen staircases and connections
and appeared to be a “three-in-one” compact unit. This complex was a compact covered unit and met
all the requirements of the customer under one roof and emerged as a complete shopping market of its
own kind. Besides, there was the added facility of beautiful and cosy apartments for shop owners who
wanted to live in the same block or precincts. EMPRESS TOWERS proved to be another landmark in the
distinguished career of the reputed Rafi Group.
