About Y20
The Youth 20 (Y20) is the official engagement group for youth
of the G20. The Y20 has become a platform for young people
across G20 to have a dialog, to negotiate, and to come up
with solutions on world’s most pressing issues. Annually, the
Y20 hands over a policy recommendation to the G20 heads of
state and heads of government through a document called the
Y20 Communique.

About Y20 Indonesia 2022
In 2022, as Indonesia hosts the G20 Summit, the
Indonesian Youth Diplomacy (IYD) will be the official host
of the Y20 Summit 2022 Indonesia. Therefore, IYD would
like to invite all young Indonesians aged 16-30 to be part
of this historic journey by participating as our volunteers!
Available Position:
Support Officer for
Project Management
Job Description & Requirements:

• Provide support to the Project Manager in day-to-day operations and the planning in
the lead up to the Y20 Summit 2022 Indonesia. The responsibilities include providing
support for the execution of pre-Summit side events.

• Provide support in streamlining the timeline of Y20 organizing committee’s activities

in the lead up to the Y20 Summit 2022 Indonesia. Abilities to compose quality MoMs in
timely manner is an asset.

• Provide support in coordinating the Y20 Organizing Committee members as per the
Standard Operating Procedure, ensuring the compliance of the organizing committee to
the short-term and long-term strategy, and in evaluating the performance of each Y20
Organizing Committee departments.
Job Description & Requirements (cont.):

• Ability to prepare interesting, succinct, and audience-targeted presentation decks is

a very valuable asset. Ability to visualize information in informative yet succinct
manner is highly sought.

• Ability to operate Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. Power Point is a must.

• Able to commit up to 5-10 hours/week for voluntary work (incl. attending meetings
with government, internal briefings, etc.).

• Able to follow the pace as well as the flexible and dynamic workflow of the
Indonesian Youth Diplomacy (IYD) and the Y20 Summit 2022 Indonesia Organizing
Committee.

• Having robust network of local-based youth and student organizations in Indonesia

is an asset. Having robust network with fast-paced media outlets in national and sub-
national levels that are familiar with Gen Z and the millennials is an asset.
 • Indonesian citizen aged 16-30.
General
Qualifications • Fluent in English, proven by standardized test certificate:
IELTS or TOEFL.

• Previous experience in project management is an asset.

• Proven leadership and impact.

 Important note: This vacancy is voluntary (unpaid).
