order to attain national

international understanding.

∙ The inculcation of volunteerism as a

tradition of bayanihan to
foster social justice, solidarity and

- one of communal unity, helping others
without expecting rewards, to achieve a
certain goal. - The first country to utilize
this strategy was Japan after the

the Philippine National Volunteer
Service Coordinating Agency
(PNVSCA) to
perform its mandates and to
oversee the implementation of
this Act.
