Course Information Guide
Offshore Courses

National Academy for Professional Training recommends that you consult with the Operator to ensure exact training requirements, prior to course enrolment and confirmation for
Offshore Survival Course Modules. As a general guide the following information may be useful:

- T-BOSIET – Required for all personnel working offshore on rotational basis

- T-HUET – Required for all personnel traveling offshore for visit purposes less than three times a year

Some Operators in The State of Qatar may request the T-HUET (OPITO) Course Module to have a bolt on Sea Survival Element provided by the training provider. The additional Sea
Survival Module is normally an element taken from the T-BOSIET lasting for an additional 2.5-Hours. As a recommendation, the T-HUET provides sufficient Sea Survival Techniques
from continuous industry updates therefore no additional element should be required.

Note: Where additional Sea Survival Elements are requested, the certification shall be issued separate from the T-HUET based on the Sea Survival Element not being an OPITO
Accredited or recognized Course Module.

H2S Course Modules are provided as OPITO Accredited and Operator Accredited. As a general rule, H2S Certification is mandatory for all offshore travel and is only valid for the
duration of 1-Year. OPITO H2S Course Accreditations provide 2-Year Certification by standard, however training providers are permitted to follow Operator requirements in providing
OPITO H2S Certification valid for the duration of 1-Year. It is recommended that you consult the Operator prior to schedule of H2S Training.

Offshore Travel

As an information guide for all persons traveling to offshore installations:

- T-BOSIET or T-HUET Certificate – OPITO Accredited – Valid by recognized training provider
