Designers Note
At the beginning of 2011 I decided
that I would attempt to draw a simple
dungeon map (in the ‘geomorph’ style)
each week, and post those maps on the
Crooked Staff Blog every Monday. As
you would expect, the resulting project
(entitled Map-a-Monday …which was
itself not a particularly clever play on
‘Mappa Mundi’) yielded 52 of these
maps over the course of the year - all of
which are still available, via the blog,
for free.
However, as I neared the end of the
project, I found myself expanding on
the set with a few more maps (with the
inclusion of things like stairways and
larger tiles) - and, as you have probably
guessed, then decided to gather all of
those maps (both those from the blog
and these newer additions) into one
place - and this booklet is the result.
So I’d just like to thank you for
purchasing this booklet (and showing
your support for the Map-a-Monday
project), and I hope that the following
maps prove to be useful additions to
your games.
