HELP WANTED-
FOR SALE-
Deputy Shoupe
With the lamentable loss of our Outer Banks sheriff Petterkin, Deputy Shoupe has taken his
place doing a great job in the search for Peterkin's murderer, as well as letting peace reign once
again on the island.
We've brought Shoupe in for an interview with our newspaper so that we can learn about the
current security difficulties in the Outer Banks.
How was his and his entire team's reaction to the news that Peterkin had been murdered?
“We were all horrified and we want justice for those who did this brutality. To this day, we
cannot deal with all this news that fell upon us at once. I believe that no one will replace her
place and fill the void she left us.”
What has it been like to take on the role of sheriff for the Outer Banks?
“It's been quite difficult to take on all this responsibility, but nothing that's impossible for my
team to take care of. Lately I've been pretty busy searching for the killer of our beloved ex-
sheriff, as well as having to look after Sarah Cameron and John B. But I believe I'm doing the
best I can and I won't let my daughter down.”
What are your projects to keep the Outer Banks safe going forward?
“Well, first of all my priority has been to take care of the search for Peterkin's killer, so we would
have one less danger on the island. However, I still intend to carry out several projects so that we
can have a good quality of life in our home, such as greater surveillance in the entry and exit of
products by sea, among other plans that I think need more attention.”
