Work Sessions
LESSON 1: Students will complete a comprehension quiz using
Quizizz on our interactive Smart Board.

LESSON 2: Students will be given pre-cut picture story cards,
construction paper, crayons, and glue. They will retell Creepy Carrots
by gluing their story cards in order on their construction paper. Then,
they will color each picture.

LESSON 3: Students will be given pre-cut carrots made from


construction paper. They will draw their own creepy carrot using
crayons.

Closing/Summarize
LESSON 1: Students will review the main character, setting, plot,
and conclusion.

LESSON 2: Students will identify the problem and solution of the


story.

LESSON 3: Students will share with the class their creepy carrot
crafts and their carrots’ character traits.
