RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE (BAC)

OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY PINAGSAMA,
TAGUIG CITY

WHEREAS, Republic Act 9184 known as the “Government Procurement Act” Provides
for the establishing of a Bids and Awards Committee;

WHEREAS, Section 11, Article V, of the Government Procurement Act (Republic Act
[RA] No.9184), the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) shall have at least five (5)
members, but not more than seven (7) members;

WHEREAS, the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) shall be responsible for ensuring
that the Procuring Entity abides by the standards set forth by the Republic Act No. 9184
and its Implementing Rules and Regulation;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Kagawad Nanette Amongol duly seconded by

SK Kagawad Mark Anthony B. Abella be it,

RESOLVED as it is hereby resolved that the Bids and Awards (BAC) of the
Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pinagsama, Taguig City be established with the
following composition and functions:
CHAIRPERSON: JOMARIE G. LAGGUI - SK Member
VICE CHAIRPERSON: NANETTE T. AMONGOL - SK Member
MEMBERS:
AMILLE RHIETH F. MADIA - SK Member
MARK ANTHONY B. ABELLA - SK Member
JEREMY JOSHUA P. HUBAHIB - SK Member

Under Section 11, Article V, of the Government Procurement Act (Republic Act [RA]
No.9184), The BAC shall have the following functions:
1. Advertise and/or post invitation to bid for expressions of interest;
2. Conduct pre – procurement and pre – bid conferences;
3. Determine the eligibility of prospective bidders;
4. Receive bids;
5. Conduct the evaluation of bids;
6. Undertake post qualification proceedings;
7. Recommend award of contract to the head of procuring entity; and
8. Perform other related tasks.

SECRETATRIAT: VICTOR ANGELO B. FRUTO - SK Secretary

The BAC Secretariat shall have the following responsibilities:
1. Prepare minutes of meetings and resolutions of the BAC;
2. Assist in managing the procurement process; and
3. Perform other related tasks.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished the concerned

agencies for their information and reference.
