ergonomics
The objective of ergonomics is to take care of the human being, maintain conformity to carry out daily activities,
and avoid injuries or damages that could cause not only the well-being of people, but also health.
Due to spending hours in the working day in a healthy environment is an aspect that is being taken care of more
and more in companies.
-Sleep on your back. This is the best body posture to avoid pain. Face down is not recommended at all
because we will have the neck bent and we modify the curvature of the lumbar. On the other hand, on the side is
not recommended because the weight will fall on one side
Sit with an optimal height for your body: If you work seated or have to carry out activities at a table, you have to
adjust the height. The correct posture is one that supports both feet on the ground (therefore, do not bend your
legs), so the height of the chair has to allow you to support the soles of your feet completely on the ground.
-When driving: it is necessary that the back is supported on the back of the seat, the legs must reach the pedals
easily without stretching the legs to achieve them. It is necessary to avoid reclining the seat back more than 20
° inclination, since the adequate field of vision is lost when driving.
-When picking up an object or lifting a load when bending down, it should be done by bending the knees, with
the back straight and the head raised, supporting both feet on the ground, slightly apart and as close as possible
to the weight to be carried.
When dressing: it is better to remain seated when putting on socks and shoes, raising the leg to the height of the
hip or crossing over the opposite.
