Fortress
The pride and symbol of one of the most tourist cities
in Ukraine - Kamianets-Podilskyi - is the ancient castle
of the same name. There is still a special atmosphere
of the Middle Ages. Kamenets-Podolsky Fortress
combines the harmony of picturesque nature and the
inaccessibility of defensive walls, and this can not but
attract travelers from all over the world. They go to see
the legendary city, which is called "the flower on the
stone." The castle in Kamianets-Podilskyi, built on a
rocky peninsula in the canyon of the Smotrych River, is
part of the Kamyanets Historical and Architectural
Reserve.
Legend
The prince's nephews once went hunting, where one of the brothers met a
deer with golden horns. He showed him a place of amazing beauty,
surrounded by forest and water, and ordered the brothers to cut down
trees and build a high castle in their place. Over time, this place became a
center of prosperity and wealth, and fulfilled the brothers' dream of their
