JOHN FALCO CONGRATULATES BREANNA LUNGO-KOEHN

ON RE-ELECTION AS MAYOR OF MEDFORD

MEDFORD, MA. – John Falco has released the following statement concerning tonight’s
Medford municipal election:

“First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who has supported my campaign over the many
months since I launched my bid for Mayor back in June. Additionally, I want to thank my wife,
Jacqui, for our three sons, John, Joey, and Jack; and my parents, Donna and John. You all are
my rock and kept me in good spirits even on the toughest days of the campaign.

To everyone who contributed their time, energy, and passion to this campaign, words cannot
adequately describe the feelings of pride and gratitude that I have for each and every one of
you. We would not have made it this far without you, but tonight, the journey has come to an
end. While we did not get the outcome that we had hoped for tonight, I will not stop fighting for
Medford. I will not stop fighting for fiscal stewardship, good government, and the values of
equity and inclusion that our community demands and expects.

I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn on her victory
tonight. While we offered competing visions for Medford and disagreed on plenty of issues, I
have never doubted or questioned her love for our community and her commitment to serving
the people of Medford. I want to extend an open hand to Mayor Lungo-Koehn as she will lead
Medford as we are starting to emerge from the pandemic. I believe that the success of Medford
in this period will be very much tied to her success in navigating our community into this new
chapter and I wish to offer my help to ensure that both she and Medford are successful.”
