Writing – Unit 4

I went to a great party in first of July, my best friend Janeth threw a party for

celebrate her 20th birthday, The party was at Janeth´s house, it was a Grey's

Anatomy themed party. I remember that we dress like doctors and nurses, the house

was decorated with red and blue balloons. Also, the cake and cookies were

decorated with Grey´s Anatomy theme, well everything was decorated with this

theme, and everything looked great. We ate at 8pm, his mom cooked barbecue and

I have to say it was delicious, I really love his mother's food. I really have not

watched that series, but my friend really loves it, so I participated because she

invited me, and she was very excited. It was party, so she invited at least twenty

people, she is my friend from high school and now we are in the university, so

obviously I didn´t know everybody (because we are in different universities, and we

have different friends) but it wasn´t difficult for me to socialize. Finally, I think it

was a great idea and I can say had a good time.

Writing – Unit 5

When I have 6 years old, I was an only child. There were five of us at home, my

mother, my aunt, my grandmother, my grandfather, and me. My grandmother did

most of cooking because the rest of my family used to work all day. I think I was

very spoiled because they wouldn't let me help in the kitchen, maybe they thought

it was dangerous. I remember I did not like to eat eggs and I used to wake up very
early because my mother went to work in the morning, so I used to be hungry very

early and I used to have breakfast at 7 or 8am, I used to eat breakfast alone because

everyone was asleep, after I used to have lunch in the kitchen with my grandmother

at 10am. Then we used to have dinner at 8 o'clock when everyone used to come

home from work, we always have dinner in the dining room and every weekend we

used to go eat tacos and sometimes we used to go to the seafood restaurant, I

remember I used to like shrimp cocktail and so far, it's my favorite food.

Writing – Unit 6

I like online classes because I don´t have to take public transport (pecera or taxi)

to university or cellap. I don’t lose my time for the traffic and I'm hardly ever late. I

don´t have to get dressed in the morning because I can wear my shorts and sweater

all day and so I don't worry about what I'm going to wear, and this is good. I don't

sleep more than before but I can spend more time with my family. But although I

like online classes I think I wouldn't want to be like this forever because I have

classes that I should go to (in person) and experiences that I must live, I want to

meet my friends and teachers again.
