1. Grants and scholarships were so important to the women in the videos because it helped
them pay for college. If they didn’t get grants and scholarships they might not have made
it into college.

2. To look online and connect with local people and businesses. To look at it as an
investment in yourself and your career.

3. All three of them paid for college with grants and scholarships. They applied for as many
as they can and they stayed local so they would have a better chance of getting them.
