Location: Bangalore
1. PURPOSE OF ROLE
· Objective is to analyse unstructured data and leverage data pool to provide valuable insights and
recommendation on improving Business performance thus directly impacting incremental Volume.
· Track & Monitor Sales execution of trade marketing activities as per annual plans
· Assess and optimize spends on Trade execution materials, planning, forecasting, Inventory optimization
of Activation materials
· Run test analysis using sample data to check impact of running Trade Programs, Activations - ROI
analysis
· Statistical Analysis to identify gaps and opportunity in Business by collaborating with multiple teams
o Understanding the business problem and translating it into an analytical problem. Ability to solve
problem quickly and effectively applying logical thinking
o Creative mindset with handling large data sets to connect data points and provide insights that drive
business performance
o Analyse and recommend/challenge the status quo, create models which aim at quantification of
results.
o Assess periodically effectiveness of KPIs / drivers defined for Trade Marketing execution and suggest
improvements/changes
o Advanced excel/Automation expertise to create self-serviceable dashboards which reduces manual
work
o Work with minimal support and incomplete information/unstructured information to provide logical
actionable insights
o Understand key management principles of Business Strategy like BCG matrix, SWOT analysis to study
the current situation and suggest improvement plans
o Be assertive and goal oriented and drive results with minimal support
o Cross leveraging data across commercial like pricing, category trends, shelf share to link up our
execution techniques. Understand segmentation, brand visibility & penetration techniques to be part of
1YP, 3YP and strategy development.
o Excellent power BI, excel, Power point and basic VBA, SQL, python skillset to convert unstructured
data into structured format which optimizes time spent on data handling
o Working with multiple data sources like Salesforce, SAP ERP, Cognos, CSR, Salesforce, Nielsen
3. BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
· Main Characteristics:
- This is an offshore role and requires comfort with working in virtual environment. GCC is referred to as
the off-shore location from where the position will be based out of. Role requires to work in
collaborative manner with Zone/country TM heads and GCC commercial teams.
- Work with Zone/BU TM heads to understand their business problems, utilize data across all towers to
provide insights which directly relate to promotional techniques
o Master Graduate in the field of Business & Marketing, Engineering/Solution or other equivalent
degree or equivalent work experience
o Extensive experience solving business problems using quantitative approaches. Comfort with
extracting, manipulating and analysing complex, high volume, high dimensionality data from varying
sources
o Prior experience in managing multiple files, data cleaning, and maintaining data in structured formats
o Experience with business case analysis (problem identification, quantitative modelling and problem
solving)
o Experience connecting data points from various sources and seeing the “Big” picture
o Beer Industry business acumen; Promotional techniques, Segmentation, Penetration and Brand
Visibility understanding
