1 GENERAL PRATICALITY
1.1 HOME MENU
There are four submenus: TEST, TRAINING, GAMES and PROGRAM. Other important elements of this screen are
the vertical panel for the selection and reporting of users, the software close button and the information button.
The test panel contains the assessements that can be performed on Stability, each of them will be explained
individually in the dedicated chapter.
In the training screen you can find many modules usable to train and therefore improve the sense of stability.
There are three buttons to launch the so-called mini programs, that are three programs proposed by Tecnobody
containing a list of trainings that will be executed in sequence and a button to access the monitor panel, a screen
from which you can run in total freedom a number of operation and monitoring of the user which will be
explained more in detail later in a dedicated section.
The game screen contains a variety of applications, each of which allows to carry out some trainings in a funny
way by combining the playful aspect with that of postural control.
Please refer to the dedicated chapter for more information on the different games.
The PROGRAM button allows to launch the program of a particular user, it is disbled if you are not logged in:
To enable the program button, you must select a user with a personal training program, you can do so by logging
in with a user RFID key or, if logged in as admin, choosing a user, for whom you have previously created a
program, by the selection panel.
Once enabled you can then begin the daily program if there was one, for the selected user, this part will be
covered more in depth in a separate chapter.
This vertical section contains three buttons: User selection, workout and test report.
The button allows user selection allows to select a user in the list of those saved, this option is possible only if
you are logged in as administrator.
In the panel there is a space where you can type the name or last name to perform a text search, or you can
search for the user by clicking on one of the letters placed on the right side, also in this case it will be searched
both for the initial of the last name and of the name.
When you want to choose a user just select it from the list and press "OK", to deselect press the X button on the
top left. "CANCEL" button closes the panel while the "USERS" button will open the records (we will focus on this
last step in a dedicated chapter).
The "WORKOUT" button shows the percentage of training done by the user:
By using the buttons you can scroll through the various days of the calendar:
You can also print the report using the "PRINT" button.
The "REPORT" button gives an overview of the results obtained by the user in the assessments on each machine:
Also here you can scroll through the days using the arrow buttons:
Instead of the "PRINT" button in this panel, there is the one called "REPORT", clicking on it will open a new
window containing the user's global report for the selected date:
In this screen there are some keys for consultation and viewing of the document (scroll buttons and zoom) and
the "PRINT" button that allows you to save the report in PDF format or print it directly on paper, if the system is
equipped with a printer.
When you are logged in as an administrator or a operator you have the possibility to display the system
information panel, do so by clicking the "i" located at the bottom right. To hide click on it a second time.
This panel shows some information about the system and allows you to perform some operations:
"Software version:" gives information about the version of the program in use.
"Framework:" indicates the version of the framework used for the development and operation of the software.
“Firmware Main:” indicates the version of the Firmware used by the Main board.
"Current UOM:" shows what system of measurement units is being used, the options are International or US.
"Trunk Sensor:" shows when there is a trunk wireless sensor in the configuration if it is connected and the
battery level.
“Wireless board battery:” shows when there is a PK200 wireless if it is connected and its battery level.
“TEAM VIEWER”: starts the program for remote control, allowing a Tecnobody operator to connect and check
the system if needed.
"CHANGE UOM" allows to switch from the international system to the US and vice versa.
"RESET" allows you to perform a reset of the load cells (be very careful before performing this procedure), in
case of PK200 it performs a reset of the inclinations.
“ENABLE/DISABLE UNWEIGTHING SYSTEM”: allows you to use the Smart Gravity or the Light G.
The module screen, albeit with a few minor differences, essentially has a part that is common to all of them, the
interface can be divided into four parts.
In the leftmost column, we find the "HOME", "FLAT VIEW", "GRAPH", "OPTIONS" and PRINT button.
The "FLAT VIEW" button displays the main chart on which is drawn the track
The "GRAPH" button (in some it is replaced by the "RESULTS" button) allows you to view charts or the test
results
The "OPTIONS" button allows you to set the test parameters (possibility given only in training)
The "PRINT" button to print an assessement on paper or save it as a PDF document
The second column typically contains specific function keys for each module, here we have:
The "ZOOM +" and "ZOOM -" buttons allow you to increase or decrease the zoom to the planar view.
The most important space is given by the central part of the module that contains the planar chart, on it will
be drawn in real-time the trace of the test.
In the top left you see the name of the module in which you are located, while in the middle name and
surname of the user who is performing the test.
Finally on the right there are some indicators that show: the elapsed time of the test, the weight on the
platform, the position in millimeters of the COP and the trunk inclination if you are using a sensor.
2 TEST MODULES
To start the test, just press the "START" button, another key to be used if the facility is equipped with a trunk
sensor is the "RESET" button to reset the sensor.
The test has a duration of 30 seconds, during which you will see a black screen with a cross in the center, during
the whole duration of the test the user must try to remain as stable as possible, to stop the test at any time, just
click this screen.
At the end of the test will be displayed with the planar designed trace, to represent the COP movement during
the test.
You can zoom on the track by using the "ZOOM +" and "ZOOM -" buttons, the "ALIGN" key moves the track to
the center of the graph if it were moved, the "HIDE" key instead serves to show or not other elements such as
the regression line or the confidence ellipse (for information about these two indicators refer to the clinical
manual).
From this screen, you can print the test by clicking the "PRINT" button then selecting whether to save the test as
a PDF document or print on paper, to display the results instead click on "Results" button:
The results screen consists of two pages, to switch you can use the button on bottom right.
If you are not logged in as a registered user you will need to provide some preliminary data which will be useful
for the processing of the results:
The purpose of the test is to reach the square which will light up, leaning but keeping the starting position
without moving or removing the foot from the platform, trying to get as close as possible.

Going to select an exercise will show its configuration options, making it all highly customizable:
In the middle of each training or the game you can place a recovery time, by default it is of 5 seconds:
In the image below there is an example of a program with a training exercise and a game:
If you wish to modify an exercise already added to the grid just click on it, you will see the following panel from
which you have several options:
To add exercises to other machines the process is the same, when finished click on "SAVE" and then, once
returned to the calendar screen, on " SAVE PROGRAM "
The program will appear in the list of programs associated with the user, and if you had previously chosen to
save it as a model, also in the list of model programs so that it can be reused in the future, maybe even by other
users.
There is the possibility to view the exercises that make up a program by selecting it and clicking on "Exercises"
tab:
Tecnobody provides the possibility to use the models of existing programs in the software library, as well as to
import them if they are available for download.
To apply a model program to a user just select the program you want and click "ASSOCIATES".
The models provided by Tecnobody can not be edited or deleted, unlike those created by the user.
To perform these options select the desired program and click respectively on "ADJUST MODEL " or "DELETE
MODEL."
Finally, to import a downloaded model click "IMPORT", then select the desired .zip files and click "Open", the
program will be automatically added to the library.
Once associated a program to the user to run it, you must select that user from the speed dial list and press
"OK":
The "PROGRAM" button in the home will then become clickable, making bootable the program.
By clicking on "PROGRAM" you will be given a comprehensive overview of the exercises that will be executed and
pressing the "START" button, the program will begin:
By clicking on the Activity Register will open a calendar screen very similar to that of programs management:

Note that here you can not run the program but only see the exercises that compose it.
If you wish to enter or change the test schedule, you must click on the box corresponding to the wanted day and
then "TEST" (if a training program for that day is not present, the last step would not be necessary):
A screen similar to this, will show the machines in the system with their testing, to program one select it from the
"TEST" list and click on the "ADD" button.
If you want to delete one you should select it from the " PLANNED TEST " list and press the "DELETE" button.
Once added the desired test, click "OK" and everything will be written in the calendar:
Here you insert a new profile, or edit and delete created profiles (with the exception of those already proposed
by Tecnobody).
To add parts to the profile, press respectively on the icons with the "+" symbol highlighted in the image: the first
will be used to handle the speed, the second for the incline.
As well as to remove them just press on the icons with the "-" symbol.
You can give a name and a description of the profile, writing them in their respective boxes.
When you add a part to the profile, whether it is speed or inclination, you can set the duration of this part and
the value it will have.
To change the duration is necessary to check the box under the column "Time" and set the desired value using
the "+" and "-" places to the left.
The same procedure must be performed to change the speed values and incline of each part, so select the check
box under the column "Speed" or "Incline" and then set the value with the "+" and "-" places on left.
In the image here above for this example, two parts have been added for the incline and one for the speed, as is
now the profile will have a duration of 1 minute.
The speed will remain constant for the entire period at 1 km / h while the incline, given that were added two
parts, will be 3 % for the first 2 minutes and then decreased to 0% and position for the remaining 1 minute.
The duration of the added parts, both for the speed and incline, must be equal. Otherwise when you will click
"SAVE PROFILE" will be displayed immediately:
Pressing 'YES' 'will automatically be added a part to match the speed and incline times, pressing "NO" instead
you will have the option to manually correct the inconsistency.
Once saved the profile will appear in the list with the others, you can edit it or delete it at any time by selecting it
and clicking respectively on "ADJUST PROFILE" or "DELETE PROFILE."
The profile created can be used in the creation of a training program for Walker View.
The exercises maker is a complete tool, with it the user can creat an unlimited number of personalized exercised.
The exercises created with it can be performed either during a free training or be added to a training program.
Search area: it allows you to find exercises filtered by category, just like the training panel in the home screen.
“PREVIOUS” button allows you to exit the module and go back to the search panel.
“NEW EXERCISE” button deletes the exercise you are creating and reset everything to the
initial state.
This toolbar contains several drawing functions that allow the user to create an
exercise.
It is possibile to create interactive targes and connect them with traces to help the
user to perform the exercise once it is created.
The user can also add other non-interactive components to the exercise such ass
lines, circles, angles and so on...
It is also possible to move, modify and delete every graphic object added to the
exercise.
The targets have specific properties that help with the creation
of the exercise.
With this panel you can show the anatomic angles of a patient in real time, or after
during an analysis.
Head, trunk, shoulders, elbows and knees can be tested on a frontal, sagittal and
transverse plane.
It is the main area of the interface, it shows what the kinect is streaming or a previously recorded exercise.
The test mode allows you to try the exercise during its creation.
You can record up until 1 minute of video. This mode can be enabled only if it
is a Tecnobody system equipped with the Kinect
This controls show the COP on the surface and the trunk
inclination in real time or during a replay.
There are several buttons above the two graphs, with these you
can enable the feedback for errors, you can change the scale but
more important, you can set the area where the patient must
stay with his COP and trunk inclinations during the test.
You can set the size of the area and its center position.
The video management panel is available when you record the example video using the “RECORD” button.
The commands in this panel allow you to perform several actions such as reviewing the video step by step and
then select the section of the video you want the user to see during the exercise.
During this step you need to do a static phase on the machine, in order to adjust the exercise to the anatomy of
the user who is going to perform it.
In the save panel you can insert the name of the exercise, select the Functional system where it will be
performed, add some notes and select up until 5 categories for the exercise.
Once the exercise is saved, you will be able to perform it during a training or add it to a program.
The creation and the modification of an exercise is enable on every Tecnobody system, even the ones without
Kinect, in that case no video will be saved.
Here you can import or export the tests performed with the Walker View.
To export you should check the box named “EXPORT”, then you have to select at least one test (you can
select/deselect all tests using the dedicated button), select where to save the export by clicking the folder icon
(the default save location is the desktop) and the click “OK”.
To import you have to check the box named “IMPORT” instead, select the path where your import folder is and
then click “OK”.
In both cases a progress bar will show the current status of the operation.
