PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Production Manager – Responsible for all production activities and raw materials
management. Responsible for the strategy to bring the plant to the reasonable operation
level.
During this time:
Responsible for the Petcoke implementation project: From 43 – 100% utilization – First
in California;
New Main Burner and Pre-calciner burner – start up.
Syn Gyp utilization.
Cement Process addition.
Slag grind – From the Project, approvals until Sales.
Production department organization.
Implement a communication system internall and externall.
Standardization Process – Procedures, Routines, etc.

Production Manager – Responsible for all production activities and raw materials
management. Responsible for the strategy to bring the results of the unit to Votorantim
Cimentos standards.
From November 2005 to February 2006 responsible for the plant manager
responsibilities during the transition period.
Production Operations Manager: Responsible for all production activities and raw
materials management.
Responsible from the Quarry until the shipping department (including packing area);
Charged with recapitalization of manufacturing facility to 21st century technology with 6%
cost reduction goals and human resource reduction of 20%. Direct management of
union / company relationship during transition period.
Mar 2001 – Aug 2002. Cimento Rio Branco, Salto de Pirapora, SP, BR.
Production Process Manager – Raw Mill & Kiln Operations: Responsible for production
at two facilities – Operational efficiency improvements of 15% achieved through
implementation of continuous improvement program – focused primarily of kiln run-
factor, preventative maintenance, standardization of operations and heightened health &
operator safety standards.
Oct 1998 – Mar 2001 Cimento Rio Branco, Rio Branco do Sul, PR,BR.
Production Supervisor – Responsible for production team in the Kiln Sector (6 rotary
kilns in operation) Responsible for operation of 1st 100% - Pet coke fired kiln. Cost
reduction results of $6.0 Million USD annually resulted from this conversion.
