Application Thunderbird Mail/Calendar

Description Thunderbird is an email, newsgroup, news feed, and

available from the Lightning calendar extension.

Description The file manager provides a simple and integrated

way to manage files and applications. The file
manager manages the desktop. The desktop lies
behind all other visible items on the screen.
Application Gedit

Description Gedit is a text editor for the GNOME desktop of

Solaris 11. It is the official text editor of the GNOME
desktop environment.

system.
Application Automator

Description Automator is a tool that allows a user to automate

processes using a drag-and-drop interface, making
programming easier for novices. Since version 10.4 of
Mac OS X, Apple has included an application called
Automator (Tiger). Anyone may use Automator to
design "workflows" that simulate a repetitive operation.

Description GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is a

free image manipulation program that can be

and image authoring. It's a sophisticated piece of

Application Google Play Music Desktop Player

Description Google Play Music Desktop Player is an electric

copy of Google Play Music that is open source. It
integrates Last.fm, uses fewer resources than its
web equivalent (making it lightweight), doesn't
require Flash because it's HTML5-based, and is
currently testing a hands-free voice control
function.

Description Stacer is an open source system optimizer and

application monitor that allows users to control
their complete system from a number of
viewpoints; it's a one-stop shop for system
management.
