Core Subject Description: This course introduces the students to the basic concepts and vital elements of politics and governance from a historical-institutional perspective. In particular,
it attempts to explain how the important features of our country’s political structures/institutions, processes, and relationships developed across time. In the process, the course helps the
learners gain a better appreciation of their rights and responsibilities as individuals and as members of the larger sociopolitical community to strengthen their civic competence.

Performance Task:
Conduct an interview on what are the ideas and understanding of the people in politics.

Literal Transfer:

You are a political researcher working for a nongovernmental organization whose aim is to help improve political participation of people. You are asked by the
organization’s executive director (ED) to submit a research output on the initial ideas regarding politics of 10 individuals. In order to accomplish this, you need to formulate questions that will examine
their ideas about the nature of politics. Your work will be evaluated based on the content of the interview guide and the presentation of the results. Summarize your findings using the given format.
