 Who can view the PF statements?

– Associates who have joined prior to 16th February’13 will be able to view their FY’13
PF statements on https://pfhelpdesk.techmahindra.com . The closing balance
displayed on the statements is as on 31-March-13
 Please help me understand the data displayed on the PF statement

 I had corrected my name in TechMahindra database. However the changes do not
reflect on the PF Slips. What is the procedure for correcting the discrepancy?
– Name corrections effected in TechMahindra database do not automatically flow to
the PF office database. The PF office requires a name correction / change application
from the member to effect the change in their records. Please refer to the ‘Name
correction Procedure’ in the ‘Useful Information’ section on the portal if discrepancy
in observed

 What is the reason for difference between the Employee & Employer contribution?
– Employer’s contribution is divided into two parts , 8.33 % of Basic Salary or Rs 541
( whichever is less) goes in to pension fund
and the remaining amount is added in your PF
Contributions. However the Pension contributions are not displayed on the PF Slip

 Can I reconcile the PF contributions data against my pay slip?

– Please take a sum of the PF deductions displayed from Mar to Feb of any financial
year. The amount should match with the ‘Employer’s contribution’ on the PF
statements.Please use the ‘PF Calculator’ available on the portal to reconcile the
contributions if required
