(Repair-Inducing Cognition Enhancers) Group, supervised by Prof.Dr. Tim Vanmierlo. 

Project: I investigated the vulnerability of oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs) to

inflammation-induced oxidative stress, which results in the incapacity of OPCs to
overcome remyelination failure in multiple sclerosis. Given the lack of therapeutics
in the chronic stage of disease, I performed molecular modelling and docking studies
as promising CNS structure-based drug discovery strategy.

In vitro: Primary cell culture, OPCs isolation, RT-qPCR, Immunocytochemistry,

Low-Copy Plasmid Miniprep, GSH/GSSG Assay.

In silico: ImageJ, Autodock, Pymol
