MODE OF DELIVERY – MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING (MDL)


To the Parents/ Guardians:
• Kindly assist your child in accomplishing their tasks. Follow the given schedule in this Weekly Home Learning Plan.
• The answer sheets in different subjects shall be submitted in school on the allotted schedule. Follow the scheduled
time and date of distribution and retrieval.
• If there is available gadget and internet connection, please assure that you are in the Group Chat and on the Facebook
Group page. This will allow easier communication for your concerns, questions, and inquiries.
• If you find difficulty in answering, feel free to message me from 8:00am-5:00pm ONLY. I will be glad to assist you on
Messenger, Group Chat, Group Page, or even via text message.
• Attached herewith is the “LEARNER’S ACTIVITY SHEETS” which will serve as your answer sheets. Use a bond paper
or pad paper for the other activities. Compile the ANSWER SHEETS and OUTPUTS in an envelope when submitting it
to the school.
• DO NOT FORGET TO WRITE YOUR CHILD’S NAME AND SECTION on the Learner’s Activity Sheets.
• Learner’s Activity Sheets can be submitted via messenger. Just send a message to your child’s teacher.

Lesson 1: Music of South East Asia
 Read the introductory text of the lesson.
8:00–10:00 AM  Study the different ensembles from the selected countries in Southeast Asia. p.1-4
 Work on the Learning Task and 2 on your Learner’s Activity Sheet. You may find your answers
as you read and understand the lesson.
Lesson 2: Southeast Asian Musical Instruments
 Read the introductory text of the lesson that explains the different classification of musical

NN  Study and analyze the different instrument from the selected countries in Southeast Asia, try to
spot instruments that you think has resemblance with Philippine instruments. p.4-8
 Work on Learning Task 3 and 4 on your Learner’s Activity Sheet

Lesson 3: Play the Southeast Asian Music
 Study and analyze the different traditional music of selected countries from Southeast Asia.

 Try to sing an example of Philippines’ traditional songs, (sing it it front your parent/guardian)
 Work on Learning Task 5 on your Learner’s Activity sheet.
Performance Task 1: Melodic Pattern
Directions:
1. Choose the chorus of your favorite song.
2. Create a melodic pattern in which it will show which part of the chorus does the notes goes high or
low.

3. Do this on a clean sheet of bond paper (any type or size available)
4. An example is given to you on your activity sheet, use this as your guide.

Performance Task 2: Improvised Instrument

Directions:
1. With any recyclable / indigenous materials that you can find on your home, create an improvised
instrument.
2. Choose only from one of the suggested materials below for easier output.
a. Kulintang look like instrument made of cans.
b. Make a xylophone out of bamboo
c. A pail covered with cardboard/empty used box
d. A khene made of drinking straw
3. Seek help from your parent/guardian in doing this performance task.
4. Try to create a sound using your improvised instrument.
5. Put your name, grade, and section on any part of your instrument.

 A rubric is given to evaluate your instrument.


 Work on the Learning Task 6 on your Learner’s Activity Sheet.

 Read the introductory text of the lesson and its vocabulary.
8:00–9:30 AM  Study and compare the different fabric designs from the selected countries in Southeast Asia and
try to find resemblance with the fabrics in the Philippines.
 Work on the Learning Task 1 on your Learner’s Activity Sheet.
Lesson 2: Arts and Crafts of Southeast Asian
 Read the introductory text of the lesson.
9:30-11:00 AM  Study and compare the different arts and crafts from the selected countries in Southeast Asia
and try to find resemblance with the arts and crafts here in the Philippines.
 Work on the Learning Task 2 on your Learner’s Activity Sheet
Lesson 3: Mood and Idea of Artifacts from Southeast Asia
 Read the introductory text of the lesson and its vocabulary

 Study and compare the different artifacts and objects from the selected countries in Southeast

PERFORMANCE TASK 1: BATIK DESIGN
1. With your chosen colors, color the batik design to make it more colorful and attractive.
2. The design is already attached on your LAS.
3. Make sure to be creative in coloring your batik design.

PERFORMANCE TASK 2: PAPER WEAVING.


1. With your chosen set of colored bond paper, follow the procedure in making a paper weaving from
the self-learning module, page 4.
2. Write your name and section at the back of your work.

PERFORMANCE TASK 3: WAYANG KULIT


1:00-5:00 PM 1. Prepare the materials indicated on your module.
2. Follow the procedure in creating Wayang Kulit Puppet indicated on your self-learning module page
6-7.
3. A template of Wayang Kulit is already attached on your LAS.
4. Write your name and section at the back of your puppet.

PERFORMANCE TASK 4: SOAP CARVING


1. Prepare the materials indicated on your module. I will recommend you use soft type soap like perla.
2. Think of your favorite icon, may it be shape, cartoon, o anything you desire.
3. Follow the procedure in soap carving on your self-learning module page 7, ask for help with your
parent or guardian in using sharp objects for carving.
4. Cover it with plastic cover together with your name and section.

 Compile all your outputs in an envelope together with your Learner’s Activity Sheet when you

 Understand the definition and importance of Fitness Goals
Lesson 2: Skill-Related Fitness
 Study the different skill-related fitness components and its example fitness test or activity.
9:00-10:00  Work on Learning Task 2 on your Learner’s Activity Sheet
AM  You may not be able to do the Physical Fitness Test due to pandemic and non-supervision from
your PE Teacher, still read with comprehension the SAFETY PRECAUTIONS before doing the
Physical Fitness Test.

10:00 AM -  Understand the FITT principle and its elements for effective work out plan.

Directions:
1. Create your own fitness plan using the template/table on your Learner’s Activity Sheet
2. Use the example from your module as your guide.

PERFORMANCE TASK 2: BASIC SKILLS OF BASKETBALL


1. Take a picture of yourself demonstrating the basic skills of Basketball
- Dribbling
- Running
- Shooting
2:00-5:00 PM - Passing (Chest Pass, Bounce Pass, Overhead Pass)
- Rebounding
2. Label each picture and then collage it with a title, “Basic Skills in Basketball”
3. Don’t forget to put your name and section on the collage, then send it to your teacher via social media

PERFORMANCE TASK 3: BASIC HAND SIGNALS IN BASKETBALL GAME


1. Take a picture of yourself demonstrating five (5) different basic hand signals in basketball game.

PERFORMANCE TASK 1: GRAFFITI ME
Write quotations, sayings, or slogans that describe
and reveal your likes, passions, and aspects of your
personality. Use a short bond paper and other
art/coloring materials you have. Post your output on
your bedroom walls and be inspired. See the example.
