a. Ooho

A seaweed-based capsule with drinkable water inside of it. This makes

plastic out of the equation for it is created from brown algae that makes it
biodegradable and surprisingly edible.

b. Nohbo Drops

Plastic-free shampoo pods that come in soluble films. This soluble film encases
5mm shampoo that is enough for both moisturizing and cleaning a person’s hair one
shower.
c. Biodegradable Dissolving Plastic Bags

A plastic that dissolves in a lukewarm water. And, it takes just a minute to dissolve
it. Moreover, if you’re sure that your plastic is clean enough you can also drink it due
that its raw material is the starch of the cassava.

a. Greenpads PH

These makeup pads are washable unlike the traditional cotton pads, cotton
balls, or wet wipes that can be thrown away after one usage. These pads can be
washed alongside facial towels but should be placed in a laundry bag.

b. Menstrual Cups by Sinaya PH

Most women nowadays are now switching to menstrual cups and here in
Philippines Sinaya Cups is the first ever to deliver this to all Filipinas. A single cup
 can be used for 2 years in every Filipinas menstrual cycle diverting hundreds of
non-biodegradable toxic plastic napkin wastes.

c. Bamboo Cutlery Set by Eco Shop PH

This bamboo cutlery set is made up of spoon, fork, small knife and
chopsticks. This set can also be bought with pouch and bamboo straw for
additional price. EcoShop PH sells other sustainable also product such as
toothpaste pills, bamboo toothbrush and such for their brand philosophy is to make
Philippines plastic free.

EDIBLE “PLASTIC” BAG FOR MARINE LIFE
As I was watching a video about six-pack ring that is edible for marine life, I
immediately thought that if it can be done as an alternative for plastic bags or paper
bags. It’s a common knowledge that plastics are harmful to the environment; And, little
that we know that paper bags also have its negative side – deforestation.
Last 2019, we were tasked to tackle certain environmental problem and it was
deforestation. We’ve learned that about 15 Billion trees are cut every year to support
the demand of the people for paper.
With this, I want to be able to propose a product that can help save the marine life
without costing the trees of the earth.
The raw materials of this edible bag for marine life are spent barley and wheat.
Both of these raw materials are biodegradable and compostable. What I’ve been think
as its appearance is alike of the paper bag. And based on the six-pack ring, it is said
that its very dependable for its sturdiness.
