Attention high school seniors and parents, do you need help

completing and electronically submitting the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form required to seek state and federal
fnancial aid for college?

Have the following available to receive FAFSA assistance:

• FSA ID for student and one parent, visit fsaid.ed.gov
• Completed 2022-23 FAFSA on the Web Worksheet, visit fafsa.gov
SECU representatives are assisting students and parents in SECU
branches statewide and over the phone November 1st-30th during
normal business hours.

I M P O R TA N T:
To complete the 2022-23 FASFA application, you will use your
2020 tax information. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool will allow most
families to transfer their 2020 tax information.

FAFSA Day, provided by College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) and the North Carolina Association
of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NCASFAA), and FAFSA assistance, provided by State Employees
Credit Union (SECU) during November, are free services. CFNC is a service of the State of North Carolina
provided by a collaboration of Pathways (the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, North
Carolina Community College System, North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities, and the
University of North Carolina System), College Foundation, Inc., and the North Carolina State Education
